It’s been a while since I skipped participating photo challenges for sole reason: I could not keep up, too busy with my ever challenging motherhood tasks 🙂
But if I find a good time, like this time, I always join in the fun! 🙂
My entry for this week’s challenge: Gathering
I rarely see clusters of white little mushrooms so I think they look amazing! I found them in one of my flower pots at home.
I could not thank enough the Lord for the good things and blessings He has given to me and my family. Today my daughter turns 2, healthy, bubbly and loved by many.
My DIY cutouts for backdrop decoration
Amazed look at the cake!
Her standee she loved to hug even after the party!
Since husband is away for work, the preparations could not be done alone. I needed the help of many which came so easily and given wholeheartedly. I am indebted to my neighbors who came to extend their services – cook, clean, decorate, celebrate! My daughter’s birthday was really a great day when I saw how kind people were ready to help unconditionally. I wish my girl grow up possessing the kindness, love and cheerfulness that the people around her brings and shares to us! I know with the kind of environment and people around us my baby could not go wrong… I am sooo thankful and forever grateful for the success of the party to all of them especially to God and my husband!
I’m glad my DIY’s look pretty and everyone likes the ambiance of the party. Everyone enjoy’s the food and butterfly DIY photo booth. Adults and children loved the butterfly tattoos, games and picture-taking. That’s all that matters. Happiness and enjoyment! That’s all I ask to God while preparing the party. I want everyone to enjoy and paint a smile on their faces until they leave party. Above all I want my daughter to enjoy her day. And I am absolutely overwhelmed how she danced with joy together with her little cousins and friends. Happy birthday my love! I’m a proud mother! 🙂
Remember your younger days when you look like her while eating ice-cream? Perhaps some of you don’t, some are just reminded by photographs and some are just told by your parents! It’s amazing how a kid eat or do something so innocent that they don’t mind what others think of them or of their looks.
I think this is my ny next favorite..!
This is the first time I let her eat Cornetto ice-cream and I think she really loves it! I don’t let her eat sweet food too much too often. When she gets one sweet food, I make it sure she has considerable amount. When she asks for more, I start diversion techniques until such she forgets she asks for sweets.
Since her second birthday is approaching, should I consider ice-cream booth for her party..? Thinking…thinking! I know the kids will love it, but I prefer cotton candy booth. Hmmmm…we’ll see then! 🙂
I want ice-cream for my birthday!
Taking a big bite. Yum!
She’s about again today with giggles and smiles as she is attending her cousin’s 4th birthday. She loves party and she likes to be part of a group… not really a shy girl. Thanks goodness! 😀 I don’t want her to shrink and hide in a corner because she’s not comfortable with people. Fortunately, she is I hope she is… bubbly and friendly! Another thing I’m proud about her is she’s not a hyper child to the extent that she breaks things or make troubles with other kids that eventually embarrass the parents! 😀
With the birthday boy…cousin Achellis!
Enjoying a drink with cousin Kurt Jay
A pose with pretty cousin Aura Mae
Enjoying icecream alone coz mom is busy being the photographer of the party 🙂
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
