a pose with my little syd
I won’t be making any New Year’s Resolutions because I’m afraid I could’nt fulfill any them. I’m just giving myself unnecessary guilt for cheating or deserting my own promise… I will just play safe if you want to put it that way. However I have a list of things I am grateful for this year that I’m gonna share with you.
- I am thankful for Life
I am most grateful of this life from our Almighty. For three and half fruitful decades I praise Him for giving me an opportunity to nurture and enjoy life; that I sleep at night soundly and rise up in the morning bouncy. No matter what this life have been and no matter what I got now, this life has made me strong, fuilfilled and happy despite being battered in times of troubles. I am so lucky to see the world, hear the world, and love the world!
- I am thankful for my good health
I considered myself luckiest to have a healthy mind and body. I may not have the most beautiful figure but the complete senses are of utmost importance. Sometimes I long for costly things to keep up the hype but so glad that God showed me however the circumstances that money is not everything but health is most imperative possession I should look for everyday.
- I am thankful for my family
Being in the most understanding and supportive family, I could not thank enough God. I know there are times we fight but many times we reconcile and let love rule our hearts. My family is another piece of happiness that I cannot live without!
- I am thankful for my parents and in-laws
The foundations of my being are my parents. Had it not been their most precious love and sacrifices for me and for my siblings where we were kids, I couldn’t stand where I wanted to be and be what I am now! As to my in-laws, with a delighted heart I give my whole respect and salute them for bringing up a responsible and generous man who also became my better half.
- I am thankful for an exceptional opportunity
Being able to look after my daughter personally and to see her grow is a dream I’ve always wanted. My previous job was a total block to such dream. To choose to be a stay-at-home mom or a long distance parent..? I never had any regrets that I chose to be a mother first. I love being a teacher to many foreign kids but I must be a teacher and a mother first to my own child.
- I am thankful for my friends
I only have few true friends that I can depend on. I truly thank God for them.
- I am thankful for my guy
Almighty God, you have been generous father to me. You not only answer my prayers but you continue to shower me with your unwithering love channeling them all to my man. Thanks heaps for giving him a generous heart, understanding mind, and a healthy physique.
- I am thankful for my sisters and brothers
They are my best friends in moments of my world-weariness when there’s no one to turn to because everyone seems too busy with their own lives. The people I prayed to have a happy and contented life and the people who hold a special spot in my heart and person.
- I am thankful for having a daughter
God has blessed me more than enough.
I asked Him a good man, He sent one
I prayed for a child, I was expectant
I asked for a girl and it was indeed a daughter!
Plus a bonus to be always with her;
Now she’s twenty-seven months old
Smart and bubbly, surprising in all things
Now my heart is teeming with God’s pure blessings!
- I am thankful for the material things I enjoy using/eating/watching everyday
Thank you Lord for all these zests of my life! I enjoy these fleeting gadgets/things for they add flavor and color of my days!
